The three-day, 26th African/Caribbean International Festival of Life (FOL) will be held Friday – Sunday, July 6th through July 8th, 2018 (Independence weekend) in Union Park, 1501 West Randolph Street (Lake and Ashland), in the trendy downtown Chicago West- Loop.
It’s a full family festival of music, food, arts, crafts, games, educational contests and more. Over 50, Reggae, Caribbean, African,
R & B, Blues, Gospel, Latin, Indie and other world music acts will be featured on two stages. More than 100 vendors with products from Africa, the Caribbean, Mexico, South and Central America, and other parts of the globe will be in attendance to brand, exhibit and sell their products/items during the three days Independence weekend celebration. Jamaica’s reggae music, other Caribbean and world music will rock the festivity for ten hours daily. There will be games and entertainment for the entire family! Save the dates!
